MO’ MONEY. LESS PROBLEMS.
MO’ MONEY. LESS PROBLEMS.
It's time to put on your business hat and taking this shit seriously.
This isn’t a “to photograph pretty stuff” workshop. This is about business only. There will be no styled shoots, no bonfires with creative inspiration talks, none of that. It isn’t always easy to hear what we have to say, but we would never tell you unless we knew it was going to help you.
We strive to teach you and share with you what it takes to be a self-employed Business Owner – to afford monthly bills, a family (if you have or want one), your own health insurance, vacations and a retirement plan. We focus on giving you a strategy and direction in your business.
Topics we keep shit real about: How to be the real you and get booked for it, key points to ensure that your website makes sense to convert into inquiries and then bookings, and the big one… marketing!
We teach you about having the right mindset about business when it comes to money, structuring your pricing realistically according to your portfolio so you do not hear crickets, answering emails properly (so that your chances of a response is higher than being ghosted), and lastly, booking consistently and what that REALLY means.
It's more than just a logo. It's you. The Experience.
They inquire. You reply. Crickets. WTF?
Getting them to book you consistently.
I'll admit. I was a skeptic at first. I had little savings saved up, have just taken on weddings solo. But I knew the moment my hand hurt just an hour into the workshop after writing a shit ton of notes (Yes, that's how much knowledge bombs Brittani + Jon drop on you), I was fucking paying way less for this workshop than I should have. It is SO WORTH THE MONEY. They teach what everyone in the industry thinks is INSANE to do, like The Knot! Facebook ads! "Non-ideal" clients! I mean, you mention these things to the industry and everyone says to run far away from it. Well, I listened to Brittani and Jon - and have made, to this day exactly a week after the workshop: $16,300. 2 photo + video packages. 2 photo packages upsold for albums. One of these clients I was having a problem with. The old me would have lost one of these clients, running away at red flags the industry tells you to run away from. The new me just educated my client and upsold that package for $2k more 😎 all thanks to Brittani and Jon. #blessup And this was just by changing the way I talk to clients. Little things that you don't even think of changing made a HUGE impact for you and your clients. I haven't even started implementing the rest of what I was taught, but damn, I'm shook. I'm starting to shoot and do business more for my clients and less for the industry and it's already paying off. I lost track of why and who I was doing all this for in the first place and Brittani and Jon, no shame, put me back in my place and woke me the fuck up. This workshop is a life changer.
(I’m already crying lol) As much as I hate it, I have to be honest with you guys and myself. From the moment we’ve known each other, I’ve been full of excuses. I had anxiety about so much, and I was always so indecisive (still am, working on it). It took me forever to buy my ticket to Hustle + Flow, but after seeing all those amazing reviews I just HAD to shut the fuck up and buy one. Even leading up to the workshop, I had anxiety because, well, you know. Excuses. But I finally went and the entire time I took notes meticulously, knowing full well I’d forget all the things you said if I didn’t. I’m so glad I did because guess who kept making excuses even after the workshop? I was mid-move, I had to travel for almost two months, I had too much to worry about, yada yada. None of them were real reasons to not get started on applying all the things that I learned at H+F. Fast forward to one week ago, and my bank account went negative. I had dug myself into such a deep hole, I had a major breakdown and literally yelled, “What the hell am I doing wrong?!” — I knew what I was doing wrong. I wasn’t listening to anything you had taught me. Sure, on the surface I adjusted small things here and there, but the major stuff? I hadn’t rebranded, I hadn’t changed my copy, etc. But literally two weeks ago I did a major overhaul, and one week ago I applied all the important things and went from -$350 in my bank account to EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS and almost $20k in 2018 bookings. I’m a 21-year-old college dropout with an AA who almost committed suicide from financial struggles and is living 1000mi away from family. My bank account has never once seen anything over $2k. And now there’s $8,000 in there, in just one week. One week. I went from constant anxiety and endless crying episodes to happy dances and tears of joy. Without you guys, I don’t know where I would be today and I truly mean it when I say I am forever grateful to the both of you for not only figuring this shit out before all of us but also being so generous and kind and GENUINELY wanting us to succeed. To anyone who may be reading this, it’s worth it. Don’t question yourself, INVEST in yourself. You deserve it. I promise you, if you attend Hustle and Flow and put the work in, you won’t regret a thing.
